Kitchen Project

So, today I went shopping for new decorations for the kitchen and I got some pretty awesome stuff at out own little version of a Peddlers Mall. There was so much more that I wanted but, a little at time.. :) I haven't really decorated the kitchen at all since we moved and I never really did before either. It was kind of my current project when we moved from Lexington and everything got put on hold. Now it's back on and I can't wait to see the finished project! I have this amazing picture in my head and I can only hope to bring it to life. Hope you enjoy the trip with me! :) Here's a couple of shots of the stuff I got today...

Updated! I have recently purchased some more decor items and it's starting to come together...

I love my new container for fresh flowers. I can't wait to get some pretty spring daffodils to put in it. :)

The Ball jars and sifter are previous purchases. The frame is recycled and hold photos of a barn in an open field and Ms. June's house at ALC. I have always loved that house. :) I remember going and reciting Pippa's Song to her in kindergarten. It almost still rolls off the tongue with ease.

Since we rent, there is no painting :(, but I found a way to personalize the walls after all. :) I'm so happy with the way it turned out!

I love, love, LOVE my new cookbook stand! My sweet hubby spotted it at an Amish market and my sweet mother-in-law got it for me for my birthday (Happy Early Birthday to me!).  It is, by far, my favorite new addition.
